Cosmetic Acupuncture

Acupuncture can be safely used to reduce wrinkles and other fine lines, including smoking lines.  It is a safe, natural procedure using no chemicals, lasers or insertion of any product into the body.  Your face will not remain expressionless or frozen after as it has no paralysis effect.  It is a natural facial rejuvenation technique, not a face lift.  The insertion of the needles into the face increases circulation into the areas and stimulates the production of collagen.  This helps the skin become firmer and gives a brighter glow to the complexion.  Deep lines are often softened while finer lines can be erased.

Very tiny needles are inserted superficially into the skin surface right along the unwanted lines.  Results have been seen in one treatment though 5-10 treatments are recommended as results will vary depending on the severity of the lines.  Cosmetic acupuncture is very popular in cities like New York and Los Angeles where people want younger and healthier looking skin without undergoing any type of surgical procedures.

Price for cosmetic acupuncture is $70 per session to work on one area of the face, ie: mouth, eyes or forehead.  Approximately 20 or more needles will be used and the cost is broken down to about $3.00 per needle.  This is significantly cheaper than Botox injections and a much safer procedure.
