I came to Melissa in hopes of finding relief from reoccurring migraines. I had never received acupuncture but something in me was telling me it was time to try it, and I was led to Melissa through a couple internet searches of acupuncturists around my area. Melissa was very personable, knowledgeably informative, and concerned for my well-being. To add, she has a very warm, friendly, and inviting personality. The treatment itself was truly an incredible experience for me. The needles were not nearly as painful as I had perceived they might be and they provided a world of relief. I still feel immense relief the day after (the day I am writing this). She also insisted we do some cupping, which i had never done, but I'm glad we did it because it added extra alleviation from my symptoms. Overall it was wonderful and I'm glad i was led to her establishment and i look forward to coming in again.

I was very apprehensive about acupuncture and cupping but Melissa walked me through every step, was very patient, and talked me through what was happening.
The acupuncture, cupping and massage at the first visit released knots and relieved so much of the pain I was feeling. I felt so good leaving her office. The way she inputs the needles are super gentle and you don't even notice they're there, which was very nice since I can get a bit jumpy. I visited Faye for debilitating knee pain. I was having trouble navigating stairs and getting into and out of my car. She treated me using the Tan method of acupuncture (which truthfully seemed rather strange). Instead of putting needles in my knees, she placed needles in my elbows.
After a 20 minute rest, the needles were removed. I was amazed that I was able to do a deeper knee bend than I'd been able to do in 20 years. I got easily into my car and could walk down the stairs without pain.
I still need more sessions but I was amazed at how rapidly Faye's treatment worked. She does fabulous work.
Faye is a wonderful acupuncturist. She spends a lot of time with you figuring out what is going on and then works her magic. Her treatments are painless which is a plus! And I loved her office, super clean and calm, I felt so relaxed while I was there and days afterwards. I definitely recommend Faye to anyone wanting to try acupuncture.
Great treatment. I always leave feeling reinvigorated and healthy. Faye has also pointed me in the direction to help my diet and overall health. I had my first acupuncture treatment at Aviva acupuncture on Oahu this summer. Our rental car had been rear-ended and I was in pain. Having had a history of neck pain with cervical fusions I am cautious about my approach to new practitioners, but a friend recommended Aviva to us so we made an appointment. Faye was very sensitive to my injury and assured me that she would be extremely gentle and careful to only help me. Rather amazingly the treatment only took 15 minutes rather than the usual 45min and I had fairly immediate relief of the pain in my neck. I was so surprised. I kept waiting for the pain to come back but the best thing was it didn't come back and allowed me to enjoy the rest of my vacation. It was such a surprising and pleasant experience I would definitely recommend Aviva acupuncture to anyone and I will go back there when we return to Hawaii. Faye has learned advanced acupuncture applications that I had never had before and the difference between the traditional and hers was that the pain subsided almost immediately!

Faye is a very skilled acupuncturist with impeccable attention to detail with acute awareness and compassion for my discomfort. I had loud pitch tinnitus in one ear with sharp pain, I lived with this discomfort for almost a year. After 5 treatments from Faye, my pain went away and the tinnitus diminished substantially. She cares about the results, she made sure I would not leave her table until substantial relief was attained. She's all 10 stars!!!
Amazing Acupuncture session with Faye. She was super knowledgeable and seemed really invested in helping me as a client. I went in with some lung issues, wheezing and sinus congestion. Faye was able to clear my nasal congestion and coughing with my lungs. She was professional and compassionate. I will totally be seeing her again.
I was a bit skeptical about acupuncture but decided to give it a try because I have constant lower back pain due to a herniated disc. I found Aviva Acupuncture where Faye was able to help me out with my back pain. I'm not too good with needles but she did a great job of making me feel comfortable. After a few minutes, the pain was gone, it was pretty amazing. And it can help with a whole variety of things, not just back pain. If your thinking about it, do it, you'll be amazed too.
